Leaning sections (usually one or two failed posts — fixable without touching the rest), rotted posts re-set properly, sagging gates re-hung and re-braced, storm and wind damage put back up stronger, and broken boards matched to your existing fence and stain so the repair disappears. Most of our repair work is on fences other people built — that's fine by us.

If the posts and framing are sound, repair almost always wins. If most posts are failing, replacement can genuinely be the better investment — and we'll show you why on your fence, not in a sales pitch. Straight recommendation, itemized quote, either way.
Fence staining & sealing
Staining and sealing can extend a fence's life by up to 2x — it keeps water out of the wood, and water is what drives rot, warping, and post failure. We stain new fences, restore gray weathered fences (often a night-and-day transformation), and run ongoing maintenance plans: quality oil-based stains, re-applied on schedule, with opaque finishes lasting up to 5 years between coats.
Transparent, semi-transparent, or opaque?
Transparent and semi-transparent show the grain and warm up cedar beautifully but refresh every 2–3 years; opaque behaves more like paint with the longest protection window. We'll stain a test board on your actual fence so you choose from reality, not a swatch.

Can a leaning fence be fixed, or does it need replacing?
Usually fixed. Leaning is typically one or two failed posts or footings, not a failed fence. We repair the bad posts, re-set them properly, and leave the rest of your fence alone.
Is it worth repairing an old fence?
If the bones are sound, almost always. Repair plus stain-and-seal can add years of life for a fraction of replacement cost. If the bones are gone, we'll tell you that too — with an itemized quote either way.
How often should a fence be restained?
Semi-transparent stains typically want refreshing every 2–3 years; quality oil-based opaque stains can go up to 5. On a maintenance plan, we track it so you don't have to.
Does staining really extend a fence's life?
